Arnold Schwarzenegger will take time off to shoot a scene for Sylvester Stallone’s upcoming action flick, “The Expendables.”

Shooting is expected to begin next month. No word on whether Arnie plans to donate his paycheck to the deficit.

Milo And Hayden Are Over!

Milo Ventimiglia, 31, and his Heroes costar Hayden Panettiere, 19, have split!

“Hayden tried to break up with Milo many times since Christmas, but he wouldn’t accept it,” a source tells Star.

“Finally she put her foot down last week when he confronted her about hooking up with another guy at a club. She told Milo they weren’t a couple any longer and she could see whomever she wanted. When Hayden didn’t call Milo on Valentine’s Day he got the message finally. He is so in love with her it’s hard for him to accept.”

The source adds, “Milo became too needy and insecure for Hayden. Hayden is really strong and independent and didn’t want to be dragged down by Milo who always wanted to stay home and have her to himself. It’s the age difference. She wants to party and network. She wants a big movie career and thinks Milo would get in the way. Milo is older. He wants to get married and settle down. He shouldn’t have picked such a young girl to be his girlfriend. It’s his own fault.”

Suge Knight Beat Down

So Suge Knight got the you-know-what beat out of him this morning. Scottsdale cops now tell us Suge fractured several bones in his face — the result of a beating at the W Hotel early this morning, allegedly at the hands of Akon’s business manager.

The suspect — Robert Carnes Jr. — is being held for felony aggravated assault.

As far as we know, Suge has been released from the hospital.

UPDATE: Akon’s publicist released the following statement about Robert Carnes Jr., the guy accused of beating Suge’s ass: “He is not Akon’s business manager, David Bolno is. He is with Akon’s camp.”

Nick And Selena Are Over

Nick Jonas is single again the 16 year-old singing sensation and his Disney star girlfriend Selena Gomez, also 16, have broken up.

The youngest Jonas Brother announced he was single on The Insider. And while Nick was in NYC doing a media blitz with his bros, Selena hit the town in Los Angeles with his other ex girlfriend — Miley Cyrus!

Selena, Miley and fellow tween star Demi Lovato dined on sushi at Koi in West Hollywood on Thursday. Miley’s current boyfriend, Justin Gaston, also tagged along.

Mandy Moore To Say I Do

Mandy Moore and musician Ryan Adams have announced their engagement.

It’s been an interesting ride for the duo, who first started dating in December 2007. Last July, they announced they had split with Ryan blaming the spotlight surrounding the actress/singer. “I’m allergic to paparazzi,” he blogged at the time.

During their time apart, Mandy reconnected with her ex-boyfriend DJ AM following his near-death plane crash. They stepped out publicly to a charity event, but called things off again in December.

Last week it became apparent that Mandy reunited with Ryan when he posted a photo of them together at Sundance on his blog. The photo has since been removed from the site.

No wedding date has been announced.

Cause Of Brown / Rihanna Argument Revealed

So what set things off in the car?!

It’s the question everyone’s been asking, ever since teen heartthrob Chris Brown turned himself into police Sunday night for allegedly roughing up his pop star girlfriend, Rihanna.

But now the official police report is unearthing new details of what really transpired in the silver Lamborghini.

According to the report, Brown got a text message from a female asking to hook up with the 19-year-old star. This allegedly led to Brown and Rihanna arguing on their way home from the Clive Davis pre-Grammy party.

Rihanna told Brown to drop her off, and during the drive she allegedly acted like she had made a phone call to someone.

“He’s dropping me off,” she allegedly said during the “call.” “Make sure the cops are there.”

“You are really fucked up now,” Brown allegedly told her. “I’m going to kill you.”

Brown then allegedly began to punch the singer. According to the police report, Rihanna told police it wasn’t the first time Brown hit her. At one point, Rihanna allegedly threw the keys of the car out the window.

According to a New York Daily News source, when the two pulled over in Hollywood’s Hancock Park neighborhood, “Rihanna got out the car.  He wanted her to get back in, so he grabbed her. She pulled away. That’s when she told people he hit her.”

Rihanna was allegedly left with bite marks, bruises, a bloody nose and swollen eyes.

Who was the woman that text Brown? Rumors began to swirl that it was English pop star Leona Lewis. According to several published reports, Lewis and Brown were seen laughing together at the Clive Davis pre-Grammy awards party…that allegedly set Rihanna off.

The rumor prompted Lewis’s reps to release a statement denying the accusations.

“Leona was at the pre-Grammy party with her family and boyfriend and had nothing whatsoever to do with any argument that may have ensued between Chris and Rihanna,” the statement read.

“Any allegations that the pair had flirted are completely false.”

Police have been asked to gather more evidence before serious charges can be made against Brown. He is set to appear in court March 5.

Nicollette Sheridan is ending her run on ABC’s Desperate Housewives, reports TV Guide magazine.

This will be the second time the actress was set to leave Wisteria Lane. Last year, show creator Marc Cherry announced that something Edie would do would lead to a “shocking conclusion to her time on [the show].” However, after being cut out of a few episodes, she was back again for in the fall.

Leona Lewis Sparked Brown / Rihanna Assault

Hours before his alleged violent outburst, Chris Brown seemed detached from his girlfriend Rihanna at Clive Davis’ pre-Grammy bash on Feb. 7 in Beverly Hills. And during the party Chris turned his attention to sexy British songbird Leona Lewis, says an insider.

“At one point, Rihanna caught Chris flirting with Leona,” says a source. “They were carrying on and laughing, and Rihanna saw Chris with his hand on the small of Leona’s back. It may have been innocent, but that set Rihanna off.”

Sources tell us that there had been problems between the couple simmering beneath the surface for months — and they came to a head that night in the early morning hours before the Grammys when Chris allegedly assaulted Rihanna.

After a visit to the hospital, Rihanna’s grandmother says the singer is doing okay. “I don’t want people to worry. Rihanna is fine and she is doing well,” Clara Brathwaite tells Barbados’ Daily Nation newspaper

Long Time Friend Speaks Out On Chris Brown

As expected, Chris Brown’s camp has been silent regarding the career-crippling drama surrounding the 19-year-old following his alleged physical fight with girlfriend Rihanna on Grammy night. But now a longtime friend of the performer is jumping to the star’s defense.

“Chris is a very good kid” the friend told VIBE. “I do not know the situation in its full entirety because I was not in the car [with them that night],” the source adds, “but from what I know, Chris and Rihanna’s relationship…it was real. They loved each other.”

On February 8, around 12:30 a.m., Brown and Rihanna allegedly got into an argument while leaving Clive Davis’ Pre-Grammy Gala in Beverly Hills. Brown, who was driving a rented silver Lamborghini, pulled over in Hollywood’s Hancock Park and got out of the car. He allegedly got into a scuffle with Rihanna, which allegedly left the “Umbrella” singer with a bloody nose, and bruises on her face.

According to other sources, Rihanna threw the keys of the Lamborghini out the window of the car, causing Brown to flip out. The singer then allegedly told police that Brown threatened to kill her, and he choked her until she fell unconscious.

When Brown went to turn himself in to LAPD’s Wilshire police station to post $50,000 bail, he hid in the backseat of an SUV as paparazzi swarmed to catch a glimpse of the 19-year-old star.

Though both Brown and Rihanna kept their relationship on the low, romantic photos of the couple were frequently splashed over blog sites.

In 2008 R&B singer Ne-Yo came out and confirmed Brown and Rihanna’s relationship, saying, “They tear hair out of each other and argue. I’ve seen them kiss and make up like other couples do. I’ve seen the ups and downs.”

But rumors soon ignited that the relationship was set up by Brown’s and Rihanna’s publicity teams in 2007 after Rihanna was rumored to have been allegedly sleeping with her mentor, rap star Jay-Z, and Brown was allegedly involved in a romantic relationship with his manager, Tina Davis (all parties have denied all allegations).

“I don’t know about the propaganda that [their relationship] was made up and they were put together for publicity stunts,” the friend says. “I just know that he was loving her and she was loving him.”

According to reports, Rihanna is allegedly building a domestic violence case against Brown and is cooperating with investigators. Meanwhile, Brown’s career has been hanging in the balance. On Monday the gum company Wrigley, decided to suspend their Doublemint ad campaign with the performer. By Tuesday, The Milk Mustache campaign confirmed that they were dropping the singer from their advertising. On Wednesday Southwest Florida radio station B103.9 announced that they will be removing all of Brown’s music from their playlist. Brown must appear in court March 5.

In spite of it all, Brown is holding himself together, the source says.

“He’s better off than me if I, or anybody else, was in his situation, ” says the friend. “Chris is a blessed child. We’ll leave it in God’s hands.”

Text Message Ignites Brown / Rihanna Violence

Law enforcement sources confirm to Celebrity Bl0g that Chris Brown received a text message from a woman while he was driving with Rihanna and that’s what started the confrontation that left Rihanna battered and bruised.

We’re told the text message was from a woman who wrote about hooking up with Brown later.

We’ve also learned there is a reference in the police report to an argument over a rapper, but we’ve learned this is NOT what triggered the argument. The woman who text messaged Brown is not a rapper.

As for Rihanna’s injuries, we continue to learn more. Cops took multiple pictures at the scene. Chris Brown allegedly hit Rihanna so hard with his fists, she could barely open her eyes for the photos — they were almost completely swollen shut. She had a fat lip, her mouth was swollen, her nose was badly bloodied, and she had contusions on her forehead and both sides of her face.
